Normally, Community Board 5 meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday of the month.
But because it’s Valentine’s Day, some members probably would have been in trouble with their spouses/partners if they missed the big night.
So CB5 officials changed the meeting for tonight, February 7th, at 7:30 p.m. It’ll be at the regular location inside the cafeteria of Christ the King.
But get ready – it’s going to be a long meeting.
CB5 will hold a public hearing on the mayor’s preliminary budget for Fiscal Year 2019.
After that, back-to-back presentation by the Sanitation Department on organics collection, followed by news from NYC H20’s Matt Malina on the Ridgewood Reservoir.
That’ll be followed by the chairperson’s report, the district manager’s report and committee reports.
Better grab some dinner before the meeting tonight!
