Caldwell Ave. / 69th St. corner gas station to be demolished

The former corner gas station at 58-38 68th St. (at Caldwell Avenue) will be demolished within the next month.

The property was denied a two story residential/commercial plan in August, 2015, but a demolition was approved Sept. 2nd.

According to the buildings department’s website, the property is zoned R-1 with a commercial overlay which allows a residential and commercial property.
