After strong winds and rain soaked Brennan Field in Juniper Valley Park this past Saturday, the Luminaria Ceremony for Relay for Life of Middle Village was postponed. The ceremony will be held on Monday, July 13th at 9 p.m. in the parking lot of Maspeth Federal Savings Bank.
Despite the rain, relayers raised over $170,000 and are continuing to collect donations until August 30th with the hopes of raising enough money to reach their goal of $200,000.
