Ray Liotta, widely known for his role as the mobster Henry Hill in “Goodfellas,” will be in Middle Village for a shoot for a new NBC crime show “Shades of Blue.”
Filming takes place on Wednesday at Tropical Restaurant, located at 62-27 Fresh Pond Rd. Restaurant owner, Sandra Gonzalez, confirmed that Liotta will be on set.
Liotta stars with Jennifer Lopez in the NBC show. J-Lo plays a New York detective and single mother named Harlee Santos, who got involved with a group of dirty cops. She begins taking protection money that she uses to provide for her daughter. Lopez’s character finds herself trapped by the FBI and is forced to inform on her partners.
