Here are some upcoming meetings in Middle Village to have on your calendar.
Tonight at 7 p.m., Community Education Council (CEC) 24’s Construction and Maintenance Committee are meeting at PS/IS 128, located at 69-10 65th Drive.
Then on Wednesday night, Community Board 5 is having its regular monthly meeting.
Like usual, this meeting will begin a 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Christ the King High School, 68-02 Metropolitan Avenue.
There’s a lot on the agenda, including a public hearing on a proposal by the NYC DOT to remove a planting area within a right-of-way. The want to replace it with a curb cut or driveway on Metropolitan.
This will be followed by a presentation on the New Express Care Facility by Elmhurst Hospital, and a presentation by Transitional Services for New York.
