Middle Village will light up its Christmas tree this Friday, December 6 at 6 p.m. at Community United Methodist Church, located at 75-27 Metropolitan Avenue.
The ceremony will officially ring in the holiday season.
Sponsored by the Middle Village Chamber of Commerce, the Middle Village Kiwanis Club and the Middle Village Property Owners and Residents Association, the event will serve cookies and hot chocolate to attendees.
Santa will also be stopping by to take photos with your children.
Students from PS 49 will sing Christmas songs, and students from PS/IS 87 will perform holiday dances as well.
