CTK inducts 2017 Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame 2017

Christ the King installed the 2017 Hall of Fame members last Saturday.

More than 200 people attended the event to celebrate the nominees:

  • Thomas V. Ognibene (posthumously), Vice Chairman of the Christ the King Board of Trustees
  • Maureen Murphy Blaine, Class of ’67
  • Sharon Manning Beverly, Ph.D, Class of ’72
  • Charles D’Ambra (posthumously), Class of ’94
  • Kathleen Travers Norman (posthumously), faculty
  • Gary Giordano (community award), District Manager of Community Board 5

Serphin Maltese, chairman of the board of trustees, congratulated all of the Hall of Fame inductees.

“They have all given their time, efforts and energy to make Christ the King a model of excellence in Catholic education while fostering a true sense of community across all aspects of our campus life, activities and resources,” Maltese said. “We are an organization that has been blessed to have their guidance and experience, and it is fitting to recognize their selfless efforts.”
